Who We Serve

We are committed to serving and uplifting children in every stage of their growth. Through our programs, we bring light, support, and hope into their lives.

Younger Children

Ages 5 to 8. We provide a nurturing environment for spiritual and emotional foundation through play and interactive learning.

Preteens

Ages 9 to 12. Focused on identity, purpose, biblical teaching, and building confidence through activities and guidance.

Teens & Youth

Ages 13 and above. We mentor them through leadership, mental health, life skills, faith, and preparing for adulthood.

Parents

We walk alongside parents by providing counseling, discipleship, and practical support to help them nurture their children’s growth and well-being.

Women

Through programs like Gracious Ladies, we encourage and empower women in the community to grow in faith, strength, and purpose.

Vulnerable Families

We reach out to families in crisis with food, education support, and counseling to provide stability and renew their hope for the future.

What Happens at Kids Fest

Every Saturday, Kids Fest fills the hearts of children in Kibera with joy, encouragement, and hope. Through games, worship, learning, mentorship, and love, we help children build a strong foundation of faith and purpose. Our sessions are vibrant, structured, and led by caring mentors who serve with passion and prayer.

Children Reached

Since 2023, over 1,200 children have attended Kids Fest. Many return weekly to learn, grow, and experience love, mentorship, and God's presence in a fun and safe space.

Sessions Held

With over 125 sessions held since the start, Kids Fest continues to run weekly across three active school terms—January to March, May to July, and September to October.

Partner Churches

Two churches—New Hope Community Church and First Congregational Church—work closely with us to provide spiritual, material, and volunteer support throughout the year.

Vacation Bible School 2025 – Day One Highlights

Guided by the theme “Chosen for Such a Time as This” (Esther 2:17), over 120 children gathered for an impactful first day of VBS filled with teaching, creativity, games, worship, and teamwork. The story of Esther inspired every heart.

Teaching & Story

Rev. Martin shared the story of Esther with clarity and relevance. Children engaged in Q&A, reflecting on God's unique plan for each of them.

Creative Crown Making

Kids crafted royal crowns, symbolizing their identity as chosen royalty. The activity reinforced the message of divine purpose and identity.

Pageant & Fun

The Mr. & Miss Wonders of Hope contest brought laughter and confidence. Games and team-building followed, promoting joy and unity among all.

Impact on the Lives of Children

Small acts can make a big difference, not only to one child but to a whole family and a future generation. At Wonders of Hope, we are committed to helping children feel seen, valued, and full of hope. We want every child to know they matter, that their future is worth fighting for, and that they can rise above their circumstances.

Through sponsorships and project donations, we provide school access, uniforms, and food support that lifts pressure off families. This simple help strengthens homes and boosts children's confidence. When a child feels supported, it changes how they see themselves and what they believe is possible.

As we impact one child at a time, we are building stronger families and a brighter community. Hope spreads. Love heals. And the change begins with one life.
